8 Things to Make You Smile

Bright skin does not just stop on the surface. Sometimes, even the brightest glimmer comes from the depths of the heart. What better way to bring out that glimmer, than to smilleeeeeee :D
At CRES, we have a couple of things that make us Smile!
1. Munch A Good Breakfast

Nothing beats a day to a good breakfast. We all hear our parents nagging us to have our breakfast within 30 minutes after waking up to avoid having an empty stomach. After all, each day is a new battle and as the old saying goes. You can't fight a battle on an empty stomach.
2. Helping someone out!

Have you heard of Runner's High? You know, that rush that keeps you going whenever you are completing a run? Apparently, you can get that when you help others too! By helping others, it makes you feel great and feelin' much lighter. Seeing the other party feeling happy, you would feel happy too.
It does not have to be huge, a simple act of holding the door for someone or returning someone else's valuables can make you feel happy.
3. Receiving A Little Note of Encouragement

Do you get that warm fuzzy feeling when you receive a note from someone anonymous wishing you a good day? You may not know it but the corners of your lips might have arched upwards upon reading those notes. If you see someone feeling down, maybe you can leave a note to cheer them up!
4. Exchanging texts / calls with loved ones

Aside from encouragement notes, exchanging calls and text messages from loved ones can also warm the heart. Sometimes even a warm, 'Hello' or ' How are you?; can make your heart melt and your eyes water. ( No, the onion ninjas are not involved in this )
Host video calls or virtual gatherings at the comforts of your own homes to catch up and spend time with the fam.
5. Give someone a gift!

Make someone else's day a Christmas Day! Surprise a friend or a family with a little gift. Nothing fancy or expensive needed, get something that could brighten up his/her day. A little snack or a drink can do the trick too.
6. Reading a Good Book/ Watching A Good movie

A good book or a good movie hits the spot just like having something warm to drink or eat. Dive into realms of storytelling. Whether they are in moving form or text form, indulging in a good book or movie can get your emotions up and naturally entertain you no matter how many times you visit them.
7. Give/ Receive a Hug

Thought not recommended in the current situation but a hug is something that we would miss. A warm hug from a loved one lifts the mood and makes one feel safe. ( Admin: Can't wait for it to be safe to have hugs )
8. Have a good facial
